[REQ] MPEG-2 Converter

Hey guys,

I'm buying a digital camcorder and it records in MPEG-2 format.

Can you please suggest excellent converter software (to > avi, flv, wmv etc)

Also, is there any good video editing software you can suggest?

quite a few out there Raven....Dont bother with nero...its out dated now....only usefull for burning if that.
River past Mpeg2 converter is pretty good.... just found this too
Agree FLV AVI MP4 DVD WMV ASF MOV Conver 4.0

And the best video editing software on the market at the moment is Cyberlink power director.
