tag your images with "www.thecompounds.com"

Lets get this site OUT there!

I figure a great way is to tag most images we upload with our site url "www.thecompounds.com"

what kind of images do we tag?

funnies, most sought after, etc! whatever you think deserves the "www.thecompounds.com" branding

I will be more than happy to tag my images.
I do have a few questions:
Can I tag over an existing watermark?
Is there an official "Compounds" tag?
I only have a old version of Photoshop and adding text can increase the file size. Is there an easier way to add the tag?
Any help will be appreciated.

if you save it using photoshop, I always resave it using MS paint or ifranview to remove the "information" layer which is the cause of the size increase

the quick and easy way is to use Irfanview (http://www.irfanview.com/main_download_engl.htm)

For the dummies

1/ open image
2/ hold down left button and drag a rectangle where you want to put the tag
3/ click "edit" and select "insert text" - or ctrl+t
4/ type "www.tehcompounds.com"
5/ click OK
6/ Save as - important or it won't work

this is what you finish up with. I've left the original watermark on ;)

only if it's placed by a third party. eg: some site that found an image an tagged it themselves.

i do not recommend going over original copyright watermarks.

to save over existing watermarks put glow or shadowing around the text. this should hide what's behind it.
