I remember you and your pictures, some were pretty exciting. There is so many post because there was/still is a serious flooding problem with some making 100's of post a day. As for your post count, there was a problem a couple of years ago with us being hacked, I lost 25,000 plus post myself.

I think I might be able to get a script that bans a lot of them, but it might only work for known bots, I'll check.
Maybe you should check out reCAPTCHA I think it's called for new memberships, it does need human intervention to get past it
